Quijo ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered job search service operating through WhatsApp and the website quijo.in. Quijo is operated by Kashish Madaan, a sole proprietor based in New Delhi, India. We help Indian professionals find relevant job opportunities by matching their resume against live job listings.

2. Information we collect
We collect the following information when you use Quijo:
- Resume data — when you send your resume PDF via WhatsApp, we extract and store structured information including your name, work experience, skills, education, and contact details.
- WhatsApp number — your phone number, used to deliver job results and communicate with you via WhatsApp.
- Job search preferences — target salary, preferred work mode (remote/hybrid/on-site), preferred city, and any refinements you share during a conversation.
- Conversation history — messages exchanged with Quijo on WhatsApp, used to provide contextual responses and improve our service.
- Waitlist information — if you join our waitlist via the website, we collect your name, email address, WhatsApp number, and professional field.
- Usage data — how you interact with the service (features used, prompts consumed), used for product improvement and billing.
3. How we use your information
We use your information solely to provide and improve the Quijo service:
- Parsing your resume to build a structured professional profile
- Matching your profile against live job listings and delivering ranked results
- Sending you job matches, updates, and responses via WhatsApp
- Processing payments and managing your account and prompt balance
- Improving our AI matching accuracy and product features
- Communicating early access and product updates to waitlist members
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with employers, recruiters, or any third party for marketing purposes. Your resume is never shared without your explicit consent.
4. WhatsApp and Meta
Quijo operates via the WhatsApp Business API, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. By messaging Quijo on WhatsApp, you acknowledge that your messages are transmitted through Meta's infrastructure and are subject to WhatsApp's Privacy Policy.
We use WhatsApp only to deliver job results and service communications. We do not use WhatsApp to send unsolicited promotional messages. All messages are initiated either by you or are direct responses to your queries.
5. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate Quijo:
- Job data APIs — we source live job listings from verified third-party job data providers. We do not share your personal data with these providers.
- AI processing — resume parsing and job matching is performed using Anthropic's Claude API. Your resume content is transmitted to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic's Privacy Policy applies to this processing.
- Database hosting — your profile data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL). Data is stored on servers within a secure cloud environment.
- Payment processing — payments are handled by Razorpay. We do not store your card or payment details. Razorpay's Privacy Policy applies.
- WhatsApp Business API — delivered directly via Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API. Message delivery is subject to Meta's infrastructure and WhatsApp's Privacy Policy.
6. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your Quijo account is active or as needed to provide the service.
- Your resume and profile data is retained until you request deletion.
- Conversation history is retained for up to 12 months to provide contextual service.
- Waitlist data is retained until early access is granted or you request removal.
- Payment records are retained as required by Indian financial regulations.
7. Your rights
You have the following rights over your data:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Deletion — request deletion of your account and all associated data. Message us on WhatsApp with "Delete my data" or email hello@quijo.in.
- Opt-out — stop receiving communications by messaging "Stop" on WhatsApp at any time.
We will respond to all data requests within 30 days.
8. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. These include encrypted data storage, access controls, and secure API communication.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you believe your data has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@quijo.in.
9. Children's privacy
Quijo is intended for working professionals and is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify active users via WhatsApp. Continued use of the service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
